Description 
The Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre (Jasper) is currently accepting applications for the role of Food & Beverage Supervisor.  The major function of this position is to ensure associate and guest satisfaction in all points of contact. Major function is realized by ability to develop and maintain a strong team environment with open communication and motivation to consistently deliver prompt and courteous service. Responsible for guest satisfaction and sales in all outlets during scheduled shifts. Scheduled to work in any outlet as dictated by business requirements.
Supervisor will be on the floor during full meal periods.

Duties to include but are not limited to:
 
Open & closing shifts
- Deliver to our guests & staff a "yes I can" attitude as well as a high standard of service.
- Able to motivate and lead your team.
- Keep current on all food & beverage trends.
- Assist with the marketing and promotion of food & beverage outlets.
- Training of all new and current staff for food & beverage outlets.
- Other human resources related work with food & beverage personnel.
*Provide coaching to associates with emphasis on development and satisfaction
*Seek feedback from guests and resolve any concerns promptly
*Conduct pre-service briefings
*Supervise activity in outlets/banquets during meal/function periods
*Assist associates where required
*Ensures product & service standards are adhered to at all times
*Work closely with kitchen team to ensure coordination between front & back of house
*Ensure responsible service of alcohol to guests at all times
*Other duties and projects as may be assigned
 
Position Requirements 
Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years related experience. 
- Possess excellent knowledge of restaurant/special event service. 
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills. 
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral. 
- Possess excellent public relations skills. 
- Knowledge of Micros system. 
- Knowledge of budgets and cost controls. 
- Ability to train and give direction. 
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team concept
